Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of the Anyday Web Tools website and its tools (the “Service”), provided by Preetham (“we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What the Service is

The Service provides tools for working with PDF files and images — editing, merging, splitting, extracting pages, rotating and converting. These tools run inside your web browser using your own device’s resources. We do not receive, process or store the files you work on.

3. Cost and availability

Every tool currently offered is provided free of charge, with no account, no usage caps and no watermarking. No payment is taken and no subscription is offered.

Some features are described on this site as planned for a future paid tier. Those features are not available, cannot be purchased, and nothing on this site accepts payment. Should a paid tier launch in future, it will be governed by terms published at that time. We will not begin charging for a tool that is currently free without notice.

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. Because the Service holds none of your data, discontinuation cannot cause you to lose documents.

4. Eligibility

You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and at least 13 in any case. If you are under the age of majority, use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

5. Your files and your responsibility

You retain all rights in the files you process. We claim no ownership or licence over them, and could not exercise one if we did — we never receive them.

You are responsible for:

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service:

Editing tools alter documents. Doing so may be entirely legitimate, or may be forgery, depending on the document, your authority over it and your intent. That judgement is yours and the responsibility is yours.

7. No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error free, or that any output will be free of defects. PDF is a complex format and unusual files can produce unexpected results. Always check the output.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, business or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Because the Service is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid to use it (which is nothing) or the minimum amount permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

If you use the Service as a consumer, these Terms do not affect your statutory rights, and nothing here requires you to give them up.

9. Intellectual property

The Service — including its name, design, text and software — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose.

You may not copy, resell, rebrand or redistribute the Service, or reverse engineer it except to the extent that restriction is unenforceable in your jurisdiction.

10. Third-party components

The Service is built using open-source software provided under permissive licences. Those components remain the property of their respective authors and are used in accordance with their licence terms.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When we do, the date at the top of this page changes. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Material changes will be described plainly.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of that jurisdiction have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts where the law gives you that right.

Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us — most issues are resolved faster that way.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time; since there is no account, nothing needs cancelling. We may restrict access where necessary to protect the Service or comply with the law. Any provision intended to survive termination — including sections on liability, intellectual property and governing law — continues to apply.

14. Export and sanctions

You may not use the Service in breach of applicable export control or sanctions laws, nor where you are the target of such measures.
